FOUNDING LEADERSHIP              

                Camino Rising was founded by Rev. Gilbert Martinez, an ordained minister, spiritual care provider, and justice-rooted community leader. Drawing from years of experience in ministry, pastoral counseling, and social impact work, Rev. Gilbert envisioned a nonprofit that would embody sacred hospitality and radically inclusive healing.

     As an ordained leader, Rev. Gilbert brings theological grounding and compassionate presence to the work of accompanying individuals and families on their journeys toward healing and dignity. His leadership reflects a deep commitment to cultural humility, LGBTQ+ affirmation, bilingual accessibility, and liberation theology.

     Camino Rising reflects this vision by offering spiritual and secular counseling, food and employment support, and spaces for community resilience — always centered on grace, justice, and belonging.
